# Tickets

> Private support channels per member.

Tickets create a private text channel under a `Tickets` category for the member who opened it. Staff with **Manage Channels** can claim or close them.

| Command                    | Description                                                                                         |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `,ticket`                  | Shows the ticket menu.                                                                              |
| `,ticket new`              | Opens a new ticket.                                                                                 |
| `,ticket close [#channel]` | Closes the current ticket (or the channel you specify). The ticket owner or any staff can close it. |
| `,ticket claim [#channel]` | Staff only — marks the ticket as being handled by you.                                              |
